Stray cat breaks into Lynx's enclosure in the zoo, cuteness ensues when the rescued big cat falls head-over-paws for their new fuzzy feline friend

One of the things we pawsitively love most about cats is that they never fail to surprise you. Fur example, one minute you've searched the entire house and can't find them, then as soon as you give up, they meowgically appear right in front of you on the counter (where they're not supposed to be). They also surprise us with how much they love to make friends with the most random of animals. Cats have been known to adopt otters, sheep, puppies, and now, this stray cat below has adopted a rescue lynx that's living in a zoo.

After sneaking into the lynx's enclosure, everyone got worried. Big cats are still wild, after all. But, the lynx ended up falling head-over-paws for their new fuzzy feline friend, and is obsessed with playing with the kitty and snuggling up next to them.   • We've never seen so many head bumps of love before. It's one of our favorite features of our furbulous felines - the affectionate head bump. We love feeling that awwdorable thud on random parts of our bodies when we're not paying attention to them.

    My friend has a "pet" lynx. It's so cool! It's not really a pet, it just lives near their house and often sleeps and sunbathes in their back deck. We never try to pet it or anything but it hangs out in the backyard even when we are out there.

  • Can you imagine befriending a similar species to yourself that is around twenty times larger than you are? That would be like befriending a giant. It sounds terrifying. But the opportunities are limitless.

    PM_ME_IMGS_OF_R... It's become more and more common to raise captive larger cats with a companion puppy to help with their nervousness and to be more calm around handlers, byt lynx and bobcats often have an cat instead (often adult as well).
